What is Soft Tissue Therapy? #

Soft Tissue Therapy is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, ligaments and tendons.

Our team of soft tissue therapists specialise in a range of different treatments to enhance training, injury prevention and recovery, together with supporting the management of ongoing musculoskeletal conditions. This includes a range of different treatments and techniques such as sports massage, deep tissue massage and medical acupuncture.

Soft Tissue Therapy is for everyone and it can significantly enhance rehab and recovery as part of a tailored, multidisciplinary approach to ensure you receive the care that your condition demands. What to expect at your first appointment… #

At your initial appointment, your clinician will begin by conducting a thorough history and assessment including range of movement, and muscle and soft tissue tone in order to plan your treatment effectively.

Treatment will vary depending on the outcome of your assessment. You may be asked to actively move during some techniques, with continued reassessment and feedback on your progress.

Your clinician will discuss with you your desired outcome from the treatment along with your treatment plan throughout, including input from other clinicians from our multidisciplinary team to support you in achieving your goals, if required.
