“…I view massage as an essential component to any healthy lifestyle, whether it be to reduce stress, enhance immune functioning or to increase circulation and lymphatic drainage to help eliminate toxins and promote optimum tissue health and healing.  Absolutely everyone can benefit!”

Jenn’s career began in the field of exercise rehabilitation after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from McMaster University in Canada.  Upon graduation she was involved in a dynamic multidisciplinary clinic prescribing and supervising active rehabilitation programs.  These were predominately for patients injured by severe motor vehicle accidents or those injured during their participation in sport.  Jenn was further inspired to pursue her career in Massage Therapy after experiencing how powerful soft tissue work is in improving her patients’ wellbeing and injury recovery.

Since gaining her massage therapy qualifications from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Jenn has treated a variety of athletes across a diverse range of sports and athletics.   She has had the great opportunity of working with national and professional players and teams within rugby, football, lacrosse and American football.  She also has extensive experience preparing individual athletes to strive for their personal bests in triathlons, marathons and Ironman events.

“I’m passionate about what I do and absolutely love coming to work everyday.  Sports and exercise have had an indescribable impact on my life and I can relate to the feelings and frustrations people go through when they are not performing to their physical best.  Our physical functioning affects every aspect of our lives, be it our mental or emotional health and even the quality of interactions we hold with family, friends and co-workers.  Everyday I work with people to get them back to a positive state of health, which directly influences their quality of living.  I just can’t think of a better job than that!

The healing capabilities of the human body continuously amaze and inspire me.  Our bodies innately want to bring us back to a state of ultimate wellbeing and symptoms of pain and dysfunction are mere signals that something has put us out of alignment and it needs to be corrected.  My job is to identify those predisposing factors, remove the impeding barriers and allow the body to return to its natural potential.

Although my expertise lies with athletes and sports injuries I view massage as an essential component to any healthy lifestyle whether it be to reduce stress, enhance immune functioning or to increase circulation and lymphatic drainage to help eliminate toxins and promote optimum tissue health and healing.  Absolutely everyone can benefit.

I have a work hard, play hard kind of attitude, so when I’m not in the clinic you can find me touring the English country side on ‘Dolce’, my beloved road bike, or jumping on a plane for a snowboard trip to the Alps.  I live life to the full and to me London is a magical city with endless opportunities to do just that, and so, I’m thoroughly looking forward to settling in and making London my home.”
