"...my aim is to dynamically address any impediments to optimal well-being and return patients to their activities as effectively as possible..."

Claire has both an Undergraduate and Masters Degrees in Physiotherapy. During the twelve years Claire has spent practising as a specialist musculoskeletal therapist, she has worked extensively with elite and non elite athletes. In this time she sat on both the ‘National Executive’ and the ‘Education and Training’ Committees of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and lectured both nationally and internationally on topics in musculoskeletal medicine.

"As a physiotherapist, I am constantly amazed at what an incredible machine the human body is. Working in the field of sports medicine provides me with the opportunity to see some of the finest 'machines' working above and beyond what we would normally regard as humanly possible. This gives me some great insights as to what is possible and inspires me to challenge myself both personally and professionally on a daily basis.

A large amount of job satisfaction in my work comes from helping people get back to living the life they want to lead. Pain and injury can seriously disrupt our lives; be it our work, social or home life. Whether you’re an elite athlete, recreational exerciser or a workplace warrior, we all experience frustration when we aren’t physically capable of doing the things we love or aren’t performing at our best. Hence, my aim is to dynamically address any impediments to optimal well-being and return patients to their activities as quickly and as effectively as possible…….so that they can then simply get on with doing what makes them happy.

I really like to live life to the full and enjoy plenty of active holidays doing things like hiking, cycling, sailing and skiing. I know how frustrating and restrictive I find any situation where I can’t function at 100%. This allows me to relate to all my patients, both the elite athletes and those, like myself, who just enjoy being active and giving it a go."
