Performance Coaches

Performance Coaching is about closing the gap between your current capability and your potential. Our Performance Coaches will work with you to improve your strength, speed, power, endurance, flexibility, agility and control. The focus of each element is determined by your needs and goals. Athletes and clients most commonly use our Coaches to enhance performance, prevent and rehabilitate injuries.

Mr Matt Curley Performance Coach
Matt obtained his BSc (Hons) in Science and Football, from Liverpool’s John Moores University. He has a PICP Level 1, from Dublin, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the N.S.C.A.

Mr David Smith Director of Performance
Dave has a Diploma in Fitness as an Exercise Specialist, is a certified Australian Weightlifting Federation coach and a UKSCA accredited member. Dave has previously worked as a trainer for the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS). Here, he worked with a range of clients, from the elderly in rehabilitation and mobility, through to top grade Rugby and Australian Rules Football Teams.

Mr Dan Bernardin Performance Coach
Dan has qualifications in both Sports Massage and Strength and Conditioning, gaining a Masters in Strength and Conditioning in 2011. One of his career highlights involves travelling with a UK Athletics squad of sprinters and hurdlers for their warm weather training camp in Orlando, Florida in 2011.
