Orthotics and insoles are devices that are worn in shoes to help improve foot and limb function, with the hope of relieving painful symptoms and preventing injury. Our podiatrists are able to asses whether orthotics or insoles would be beneficial, and subsequently prescribe them to you if needed.
Our Podiatrists are able to determine if you need orthotics within a 45 minute initial consultation, if this is the case, they can then extend your session to 60 minutes in order to take a casts of your feet and to prescribe the correct orthotics for you.
It usually takes 2-3 weeks for custom-made orthotics to return from the laboratory. Most health insurance providers will not cover this service so please check before your appointment.
